Black Embroidery Floss

Step 1: Using your corrugated cardstock paint the colour of your choice a section of background, for this step if you’re worried about your starting point you can use either a template or a credit card and drag the paint over your background (Tip: wash you brush out straight after use in warm water, if you let it dry half way you will need to throw out your brush).  Also at this type paint the 2 butterflies to match your background.

Step 2: Cut a piece of the Bo Bunny Zip-a-dee-doodle Ink Pattern Paper, making it larger than your photo and with your edge distresser rough up your pattern paper.

Step 3: Cut two pieces of the Pink Mess Ribbon; Cut the first piece approximately 8 cm x8 cm and stick it under the top RHS corner of the pattern paper, showing most of it. 

Step 4: Cut the second piece approximately 12cm x 4cm and stick that under the bottom LHS corner of the pattern paper, using your pattern paper to hide your adhesive from attaching the mesh.

To get a distressed look, pull a few threads out of the mesh. Also if you are using the option of black cardstock mount your photo on it and show a small edge and attach that to the sheet of pattern paper.

Step 5: Wrap some double sided tape around the spool and attach and wrap a section of Black Embroidery Floss leaving a tail approximately 20cm in length. At this time use a little bit of glue on the inside of the spool and attach your decorative pin.

Step 6: Adhere your spool on the page leaving the tail of the floss free, and also attach a crochet flower next to it.

Step 7: Loop your floss in a decorative manner along the bottom of the photo using a small

glue dot here and there to stop the loops from moving.

Step 8: Attach your first butterfly under your spool and flower cluster, at this time also add in one or several Bella Boulevard stickers.

Step 9: Use your black pen on the corrugated cardboard and draw another boarder free hand.

Step 10: Attach your Second butterfly on the top RHS mesh, and peg your two pens to the pattern paper. Also attach your mini pinwheel.
